How does your service work?

We provide delivery from your favorite Deland restaurants to homes, businesses, hospitals, colleges.. Really, anywhere you want food, we'll take it there!  We charge a delivery fee for all orders that is calculated based upon the distance away from the restaurant.  Based upon the unique negotiation and operation process of our partnered restaurants, additional service fees may apply.  We are constantly working to minimize and remove these fees and your continued support geniunely makes a difference in our ability to do so!  Please note that the delivery charge is not a tip paid to your Mobile Waiter; please reward your Mobile Waiter for outstanding service!  Orders can be placed through the web, our mobile apps, DeLand Delivery, or by calling (386) 232-8869.

How long does it take for a delivery?

Normally your order will arrive within an hour. Some orders may take longer depending on the size of the order and which restaurant the order is from. Please be aware that we are working with some of the most popular restaurants in town and together we are working hard to provide the best customer service as quickly as possible.  Sometimes, due to traffic and unforseen events, orders can get delayed; including advanced orders.  Rest assured, we have logistical experts working in tandem to get your meal delivered on time despite these obstacles!

Can I place an order from multiple restaurants?

No.  Each order must be from a single restaurant.  You are welcome to come back and place another order if you would like delivery from multiple restaurants, but there is no guarantee that they will arrive at the same time.  (You can always call us and let us know--we'll try our best to time it so that drivers arrive at approximately the same time!)

Is gratuity for the driver included in the price of the order?

No, any delivery fee, service charge, convenience fees (labeled as surcharges), etc.  covers company overhead costs.  Our Mobile Waiters earn their living off of tips. Please take into consideration the work of our Mobile Waiters to deliver your food promptly and professionally, and reward them accordingly!

What areas are available for delivery?

Deland Delivery covers the following zip codes: 32720, 32721, 32722, 32723, 32724, 32744, 32763.  If you are anywhere in these areas, we will deliver to you.  If you are outside of these areas, feel free to call and see if we will deliver to your location.  Additional fees may apply for locations outside of these areas.

Can I order food from outside the delivery area?

In certain circumstances, we may be able to deliver larger orders outside the delivery area.  Give us a call to discuss on a case-by-case basis.  Minimum delivery order is $50, and 20% gratuity is included for your Mobile Waiter.  This option may not be available during high-volume times.

Can I cancel my order?

Once the order has been sent to the restaurant, it cannot be cancelled. Please contact one of our operations managers to cancel any advanced orders.

Can I remove specific ingredients or add special requests for an entree when I place an order?

Yes.  Additional charges may apply depending on that particular restaurant's prices for special requests.

IF YOU HAVE FOOD ALERGIES AND/OR ARE UNSURE OF THE INGREDIENTS THAT GO INTO THE FOOD THAT YOU ARE ORDERING, PLEASE CONSULT WITH THAT RESPECTIVE RESTAURANT.  DELAND DELIVERY DOES NOT ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE CONTENTS/INGREDIENTS USED TO MAKE MEALS.

WE DO NOT SET OR HAVE ANY INFLUENCE ON MENU PRICING FOR OUR PARTNERING RESTAURANTS.  ALL PRICES ARE SET BY THE OWNERS OF THE RESTAURANTS AND NOT BY DELAND DELIVERY.
